Sabitzer scores penaltyReferee overturns decisionDortmund win 2-1WHAT HAPPENED?
Dortmund midfielder Marcel Sabitzer, who had already scored the opening two goals in the game for his side, thought he had secured a hat-trick in the clash – only to be bizarrely denied. The Austrian international had stepped up and slotted the penalty into the back of the net, before the referee quickly overturned the decision to award Dortmund a second spot-kick of the afternoon.

"They're playing us all for fools," Hamann said to . "You can whistle a penalty, but you don't have to. That means if you whistle a penalty, it has to stand. Then it takes three and a half minutes until the decision is reversed. Then I ask myself: What are they doing for three and a half minutes? I don't understand that and I don't understand why the referee doesn't want to comment afterwards."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
The decision ultimately didn't cost Dortmund, who went on to win the game 2-1. Edin Terzic's side are now level on points with RB Leipzig, as Dortmund look to break into the top four prior to the end of the season.
