Kane and Bayern come into the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie with Arsenal after a humiliating defeat to newly-promoted Heidenheim on Saturday, while they were also beaten by Borussia Dortmund last weekend ahead of the first leg of their quarter-final at the Emirates. Nevertheless, the England striker has been in superb form in his debut season for Bayern and has scored a staggering 38 goals in 37 games, while also registering 12 assists.

As a result of Kane's prolific season, Odegaard has warned his Gunners team-mates that they can take nothing for granted when they go up against Thomas Tuchel's beleaguered side, who are almost certain to finish second in the Bundesliga this season, as they sit 16 points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

Odegaard was asked if Arsenal should fear Kane, and replied: “I think we should respect him, but I don’t think we should fear anyone.
“And we should focus on ourselves and the quality we have in our team, and that is all.
“[Kane is] a good player, of course, and I have played against him a few times and we know the quality he has in the box and he is also good in the link-up [play]. We are facing a good team on Tuesday.”
DID YOU KNOW?
Kane has played against Arsenal 19 times in his career – all while playing for Tottenham – and has scored 14 goals. He has only won seven of those games, though, with the Gunners winning seven, and five ending as draws.
